 E-W solar ballast mounting structure also is called as non-penetrating mounting structure, which won't destroy the roof, it also can make full use of the roof, this structure also can be installed on the ground. SIC has two types of E-W solar ballasted mounting structrue, both of them have their own advantages and are made of Aluminum.


For mounting structure tilt angel, considering the factor of environment and the stability of structure, the suitable solar angle range for the first product is 10-60 degree, and for the second product is 10-30 degree. Comparing with the second product, the structure of the first one is better than the second one. While the price of the second is more competitive than that of the first. So, if the environment is not rather harsh, the second one is best choice.

  Can   solar panels   be mounted on a metal roof? For sure, metal roof is one of the best roof material to install solar panels, due to its durability and easy for installation. Either framed or frameless solar panels could be mounted, and the shadows of panels could keep your home cool during the summer. The Metal roof have various types. The corrugated steel roof is the basic type, which you can see everywhere. To fix solar panels on it, the solar mounting brackets need to penetrate the roof sheet and fix into the wooden or steel beam directly by screws or hanger bolts.
