 SUNKEAN PV H1Z2Z2-K cable, which is TUV certified according to IEC 62930 and EN 50618, these are specified cables for use in Photovoltaic (PV) systems, and in particular those for installation at Direct Current (DC) side with a nominal DC voltage of up to 1.5kV between conductors as well as between conductor and earth, and not exceeding 1800V， is suitable for both fixed and mobile solar installations (solar farms, rooftop solar installations and floating plants). It is a highly flexible cable compatible with all major connectors and specially designed for the connection of photovoltaic panels. This versatile single-conductor cable is designed to meet the varying needs of the solar industry. Suitable for wet, damp and humid locations.


The SUNKEAN H1Z2Z2-K cable is available in a wide range of cross-sections (1x4mm2,1x6mm2, etc.) and formats (1000m and 500m reels, and 100m rolls), with a red or black cover.


EN 50618 requires cables to be low smoke zero halogen and be flexible tin-coated copper conductors with cross-linked insulation and sheath. Cables are required to be tested at a voltage of 11kV AC 50Hz and have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +90°C.Double-insulation offering increased safety. The Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) insulation and sheathing makes them suitable for use in environments where corrosive smoke would present a risk to human life in the event of fire.

  Grounding PV modules  to reduce or eliminate shock and fire hazards is necessary and required by Electrical Code in countries in USA, Australia etc. The grounding guidelines of the Code es sentially state that all electrical equipment is to be grounded by means of direct attachment to an equipment grounding conductor.   Can   solar panels   be mounted on a metal roof? For sure, metal roof is one of the best roof material to install solar panels, due to its durability and easy for installation. The corrugated steel roof is the basic type, which you can see everywhere.
