Dutch solar energy will break through 27GW by 2030

The Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency estimates that by the end of next year, the country's solar power capacity will increase from 5 GW to 4.4 GW at the end of 2018. At the end of 2023, the PV installed capacity is expected to reach about 15 GW.

The Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL) estimates that from the beginning of this year to the end of the next decade, the national installed capacity of photovoltaics will increase by nearly five times.
A report on the future energy prospects in the Netherlands predicts that 5 GW of solar energy will be deployed nationwide this year and next, enough to increase the photovoltaic power generation capacity in the Netherlands to about 9 GW.

The agency predicts that the Netherlands will have 15 GW of solar energy by 2023, and it is expected that 12 GW of solar energy will be launched by 2030, bringing the total capacity to approximately 27 GW, of which approximately 30% will consist of rooftop arrays.

  Grounding PV modules  to reduce or eliminate shock and fire hazards is necessary and required by Electrical Code in countries in USA, Australia etc. The grounding guidelines of the Code es sentially state that all electrical equipment is to be grounded by means of direct attachment to an equipment grounding conductor. This can be done in many different ways. The traditional method is to use the ground bond point of each  solar panel  and connect all the panels together with heavy gauge bare copper wire. This approach can be difficult, time-consuming and costly. Some of the difficulties in grounding PV modules arise from the fact that copper conductors are typically used for electrical connections while the module frames are generally made of aluminum.
