As you see this is a project in the field, according to the 40m/s wind load, 80cm snow load and customers’ request, our designer design ground screw aluminum K structure ground mount. Let me introduce this aluminum ground mount type:

Design Features:

1.We both have V structure and K structure for the ground mount, they will be pre-assembled which saving the installtion time and labor cost.

2.This design is more stable and stronger.

3.The same mounting system can be installed landscape panel or portrait panel.

Foundation type:

Pile driven, ground screw, concrete pad.

Expect this aluminum solar ground mount type, we have many other pv mounting structure, not only aluminum structure, but also have hot dipped galvanized steel Q235. Besides, we are using a new material called hot-dip zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy-coated steel for solar mounting. Next week, I will introduce this new material.

  Can   solar panels   be mounted on a metal roof? For sure, metal roof is one of the best roof material to install solar panels, due to its durability and easy for installation. Either framed or frameless solar panels could be mounted, and the shadows of panels could keep your home cool during the summer. The Metal roof have various types. The corrugated steel roof is the basic type, which you can see everywhere.   Grounding PV modules  to reduce or eliminate shock and fire hazards is necessary and required by Electrical Code in countries in USA, Australia etc. The grounding guidelines of the Code es sentially state that all electrical equipment is to be grounded by means of direct attachment to an equipment grounding conductor. This can be done in many different ways. The traditional method is to use the ground bond point of each  solar panel  and connect all the panels together with heavy gauge bare copper wire. This approach can be difficult, time-consuming and costly. Some of the difficulties in grounding PV modules arise from the fact that copper conductors are typically used for electrical connections while the module frames are generally made of aluminum. The incompatibility of copper and aluminum was discovered from numerous fires in houses wired with aluminum wiring in the 1970’s. Copper and aluminum will also react and corrode.
